Head Chef - Russel Ellison

Russel Ellison's extensive background in high class establishments made him a fitting choice as the chef at Monkberry's.

From The Berkeley in Mayfair, London, and Home House, Portland Square London, to most recently the 2 rosette boutique hotel Westover Hall in The New Forest, his cv speaks for itself.

At Monkberry's, Chef Ellison combines his creative impulses and skill with his experience, using local produce wherever possible to deliver stand out dishes presented in Monkberry's unique style.

THE LONG BAR

The dramatic, slate grey Long Bar is the focal point for ambience at Monkberry's, radiating sophistication. The beauty of The Long Bar is that anyone can visit at any time.

Classic cocktails fill the seasonally changing menu, with guests also being able to enjoy Tapas with a selection of varying dishes put together by our Head Chef served from 4pm - 7pm every day.

Either sit around the bar people-watching or relax on the featured classic white leather Chesterfield sofa. Open til late at the weekends, The Long Bar is perfect for early evening drinks, with resident djs playing soul, funk and disco from 9pm - 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
