- Santa's Grotto at Compton Acres will be open from 6-8pm on Wednesday 28th November, 5th December, 12th December and 19th December and from 1-3pm every Saturday and Sunday in December.
There is the largest soft play area in Dorset and restaurant and sofa area .

The heritage railway's Santa Specials are scheduled to take place on 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 19th, 20th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th December, giving visitors an opportunity to meet Father Christmas.
According to the company, which stages steam and diesel galas as well as family fun days, the showcase is 'regarded by many as the most entertaining seasonal attraction in Dorset'.
Children on the heritage rides will receive a present from Santa if they have been behaving well, and everyone can enjoy a unique journey taking in the beautiful Dorset scenery on a six mile course with refreshments along the way.
A Swanage Railway spokesman explains that 'the excitement of seeing the ruins of Corfe Castle pass by the train window only gives added excitement as the children open their presents'.
