Pre-season Party Nights.
Located just 50m from the Beachcomber Guest House, The Prince Regent has many festive packages available this season.
Leading up to the big day, The Prince Regent has Party Nights on offer. An amazing three course festive meal plus a half bottle of house wine per person followed by a great disco is offered at £24.95 per person (Monday - Wednesday and £29.45 per person (Thursday, Friday and Saturday). Dates available for these Party Nights are: December 5th, 6th, 12th, 13th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th and 22nd. Remember....book early to avoid disappointment.
Christmas Day.
Treat yourselves to the Prince Regent, four-course Christmas Day Lunch. Menu comes complete with a welcome drink, a half bottle of house wine per person with your meal and also a present! All this for an amazing £51.50 per person - children under 12 half price.

Their Christmas menu is a mouth-watering three courses and is £21.95 per person including crackers and Christmas novelties.

Located in Hope Square, The Crow's Nest has grown over the last few years and is now re-known for its fantastic food. With limited spaces available, booking early is recommended.
Their festive menu is available throughout November and up to December 24th. A free courtesy car is available for up to six people staying with a 4 mile radius of the restaurant so there is no delay in waiting for a taxi. Just inform them you require the courtesy car at time of booking.
The fantastic Christmas Menu is three mouth-watering courses and costs £23.95 each; 2 courses £16.95.

Celebrate Christmas Day with a difference at the award winning Balti House. There is a set menu available, but orders can still be taken off the a la carte menu so you can sample many curries for the first time. The speciality being the chicken kurma, not the traditional run of the mill kurma, but one that is prepared exactly as it is done on special occasions back in India.
Another bonus is the takeaway menu available from 12pm until 6pm, just phone up your order and come and collect.....on Christmas day!! Price of the 4 course Christmas Day menu £19.50 per person.

November 28th November- Christmas Lights Switch On - Weymouth town centre’s Christmas lights will be switched on Saturday in the traditional Ceremony led by Councillor Anne Kenwood, Mayor of Weymouth & Portland, some of the cast of the Pavilion pantomime Wizard of Oz, Carnival Queen Nina Rezaei, Nigel Reed, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Weymouth Town Crier Doris Eastwood.
The location will be Bond Street Square, in front of the civic Christmas tree at around 4pm.
From 2.30pm to 3.30pm, the St. Nicholas & St. Laurence school choir will sing by the tree.
Over at Brewers Quay, Santa Claus will be greeting the Mayor and her escort Christopher Kenwood, who will travel in a veteran car at the head of the procession, preceded by the Sea Cadets Band. Michelle Whitney [Dorothy,] Sarah Aveling [the Wicked Witch] and Chelsie Padley [the Good Witch] from Wizard of Oz will ride in another veteran car.

Christmas Breaks at the Melcombe Villa Guesthouse

One of Weymouth’s big traditional Christmas events is the Lions Club Christmas Day Harbour Swim. At 11am over 100 brave swimmers (many in Fancy Dress) will plunge into the fresh waters of Weymouth Harbour and swim across its width all in aid of charity and always cheered on by over 1000 family friends and spectators, packing the harbourside.
Christmas Events at Brewers Quay!
Brewers Quay extends a seasonal warm welcome and invites you to celebrate the magical sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas at our annual festival! - Enjoy the tradition of shopkeepers in Victorian costume, and catch the smell of Christmas lunch drifting through the air from the Courtyard Restaurant.
The indoor shopping village will be beautifully decorated and bursting with thousands of imaginative gift ideas from the 20 specialist stores – everything from gift hampers to hand made chocolates - candles and collectible glassware to festive candles – nautical and nostalgia products to fine collector’s pieces! As an added bonus, Brewers Quay will even take care of your gift-wrapping in Quay Moments.
To celebrate the Christmas period, there is also a full programme of carol singing by local schools and choirs.
At weekends, visit the fairytale SANTA'S GROTTO – bigger and better than ever before, and only £2 entry! Every child receives a special gift donated by Brewers Quay, and half of all proceeds will be donated to local charity CLIC Sargent.
The LIGHT UP A LIFE remembrance service in Hope Square will be held on Tuesday 24th November. After the service, Brewers Quay will open for late night shopping until 8pm, serving free teas and coffees, with 20% of all sales donated to the Weldmar Hospicecare Trust.
VICTORIAN SHOWNIGHT – Thursday 10th December – there will be a Christmas food market in Hope Square complete with German Glühwein. A traditional steam organ provides atmospheric music in the Square while inside the shopping village there will be tastings, entertainment and, of course, Santa in his grotto. Plus, selected stores will be offering 20% discounts to all shoppers!
Brewers Quay will also be holding another REINDEER DAY on Sunday 6th December! Two real live reindeer will be penned outside the centre from 12 noon to 4pm, for everyone to pet and feed.
Traditional Christmas lunches are available in the Courtyard Restaurant for only £7.95 per head, with two meals for only £12.00! Remember, there's no need to book in advance - just turn up!

Get yourself ready for this years 5k Santa extravaganza, on Sunday 20th December at 11am.
RUNNERS have less than a month to sign up for the annual Santa Dash on Weymouth beach. Some 500 runners are expected to join in the fundraiser for Julia’s House.
They will chase a runner dressed as a Christmas pudding along a five kilometre route on the beach.
Race director Mark Steen said: "It is the ‘must do’ family event of the year. People have said just how much fun this is."
“They say it brings back the spirit of Christmas. Well, it’s all true. Get yourself ready for this year’s 5K Santa extravaganza.
Participants must dress up as it generates more funds for charity. Under tens can run free with a family member.
Mr Steen, who runs triathlons through his BustinSkin organisation, hopes to raise about £4,000.
Hundreds of Santas chasing the lonely Christmas pudding down the beach in what can only be described as " The best thing YULE see this Christmas!"
So come on, get your boots on and get entered into this fantastic festive event and in doing so you will be supporting the excellent work that Julia's House does.

The winner of last year’s race, Niall Laming, will take on the role of the pudding this year. There will be a £50 prize for this year’s winner.
