Rockley Point is a small sandy beach located at Hamworthy near Poole, off Napier Road. There is pay-and-display parking for approximately 30 cars down a steep slope.The beach is small with only 150 metres of beachfront. There are panoramic views of the harbour and the Purbecks and nearby is Ham Common nature reserve. Rockley point has received the Environmental Campaign Seaside Award for a rural beach since 2001. The Rockley Park holiday centre includes Rockley Water sports for windsurfing and sailing and a shop.
Shallow water makes it great for paddling and water quality is excellent. Swimming is possible at high tide but is not encouraged and is forbidden from the slipway at all times due to strong tidal currents.
Wilts and Dorset number 152 bus runs approximately every hour Monday to Saturday until September.
There are toilets for men and women in the adjacent boat yard.
Dogs are allowed on the beach all year round.

Monkey World, near Wool. Is an Ape rescue centre with a large collection of primates and includes the largest play area in Southern England. Voted Dorset's best day out. Pets, visitor centre, indoor play area and indoor barbeque. Tel: 01929 462537.
Farmer Palmers, Organford. Bouncy castles, straw mountain, trailer rides, cafe, woodland walk and huge outdoor and indoor play areas. Tel: 01202 622022.
