Once of Dorset's most famous and popular family attractions, Monkey World near Wool has gained a wedding licence. Animal lovers can tie the knot among man's closest relatives. Happy couples can take their vows alongside Paddy's Enclosure and share their ceremony with keen eyed chimps.

Wedding guests will get the opportunity to explore the 65-acre park and the newlyweds will certainly have some wedding photographs to remember. Indeed when viewing the wedding pictures taken late in the evening of the reception it may be difficult to distinguish between the distorted antics of some of the drunken partygoers and the chimps caught in the background.

Monkey World director Alison Cronin is keeping details under wraps ahead of the first ceremony, but did say: "Our first wedding is in September and we're planning on a very special and unique experience for people who want to come and join our family and bring their families to the park."
