Is it true - could a barbecue summer be back on the cards?
Following several weeks of disappointing weather, the arrival of the sun this weekend prompted a mad dash to the beach.
Both Bournemouth and Poole were bustling as sun-worshippers took advantage of the rare hot weekend.
Jo O'Connell of Bournemouth Tourism said: "The figures for Friday showed that we had an estimates 60,000 to 70,000 people on the beach - that's about two thirds of the amount we would normally see on a busy bank holiday weekend. Obvoiusly the good weather has carried through to the rest of the weekend and people have just rushed to the beach and made the most of it."
