Chrsitchurch Quay Flooded !Chrsitchurch town quay has flooded and the environment agency has issued flood warnings for Wareham and Poole.
Dorset residents are bracing themselves for the worst storm in of the year with winds gusting up to 80 miles per hour.
Tonight there will be heavy showers with the chance of hail and thunder.
In Christchurch (see main picture) the owner of the Old Mill Tea Rooms on the quay had sandbags at the ready and spent last night in the cafe.
Drivers have been warned to avoid the quay with deep water covering the area. All eyes will be on the high tide this evening just after 8pm.
