The evening will be a lavish and dazzling journey into the heart of the art form, featuring a compelling mix of live performance, captivating music and titillating entertainment, said Samantha. It’s a burlesque show with a fairy tale twist.

Once Upon A Tease are a seven-girl troupe with live singers, dancers and burlesque performers. There is also music the audience will recognise, but in a vintage style.

From the spectacular costume designs to the on-stage gimmicks, choreographer and performer Samantha, and her pals, plan to show off the best of burlesque to Bournemouth in what they describe as a dazzling explosion of seductive live performance.

The show blends modern music that people can relate to, so it’s perfect for men, women, couples and birthday parties. The troupe said it is about introducing everyone to the burlesque scene with a show that brings everyone together.

Once Upon a Tease was created and brought to life by Samantha, along with a team of highly skilled dancers and singers, with most girls being local.

Samantha said that it had been a brainchild of hers for many years, but she finally went for it in November 2009. Since then she has needed the time to get the costumes together and get the show up and running.

Samantha confirmed that there is so much burlesque going on in Bournemouth right now. Venues are crammed with burlesque, so it’s not a problem there. It’s so popular.
